Where I stand
Four years ago, our schools were stuck. Today East Baton Rouge is one of the nation's fastest-improving districts — but "improving" isn't "finished." Here's the progress we've made, and the work I'm focused on next.

East Baton Rouge students are improving faster than most districts in the country, but too many are still behind. My next-term focus is clear: early literacy, real support for teachers, safer schools, and easier access to quality options for every family.
I ran to hold our schools accountable and put students first — and it's working. East Baton Rouge is now among the nation's fastest-improving districts. I'm not satisfied yet, and I'm asking for your help to finish the job.
